This isn't an issue with our current editors (who are amazing), but more to do with past editors, some of which who are making complaints on social media about some facts being included and some "facts" not. I wanted to address why some things, such as ages, may not be included on the wiki.
We only allow information that can be referenced.
We acknowledge that not all information on the wiki is referenced, mainly in regard to some story sections, but we tend to overlook this, as references can easily be added in at a later date and it's easy to just read x section of the manga to find those references/facts. In terms of trivia, stats, etc. we always insist on references, especially as these can be harder to find for users.
There are some character with explicit ages; Mantaro starts as a 14yo, Kinkotsuman is in his 70's in Nisei despite being in his 20's in the OG, Kevin Mask starts as 18yo . . . we can reference these facts. They are facts, even when they sometimes contradict other facts, and even when we may personally disagree with designs, personalities, etc. that match ages.
We have had a lot of issues in the past with people making up ages, which was a huge issue from the past administration that allowed and encouraged this, and you can see Jade alone has had several "ages" on his page.
To avoid confusion, we only allow explicitly stated ages.
N.B. We will also avoid speculation, even in Trivia, as it relies too much on "evidence" that is down to personal interpretation, and this itself invites counter-evidence, and devolves into fan-essays and theories. We would encourage anyone who wishes to explore these possibilities to create a Fanon or Headcanon wiki instead, and post such ideas there.
