The Justice Chojin continue the search for Chaos Avenir in the rain.[1] Mantaro Kinniku carries Rinko Nikaido, who fell unconscious from fatigue in her search, and Genta argues with the children about whether Chaos could have survived the volcanic eruption or not. Sister explains that it is best they return home, as perhaps Chaos returned there after all he experienced. They return home, where they notice a light is on in Chaos' room, and they see his bloodied boots in the foyer of the house.
Rinko follows the trail of blood, where she finds Chaos sitting cross-legged in his room with his memorabilia. The New Generation follow, along with the children, and Mantaro Kinniku cries with relief on sight of Chaos, as the children hug him. Chaos has amnesia and no sign of recent memories, as well as reverted to the personality from before he met the New Generation. He waters a plant that has never flowered, while Meat explains the amnesia must be due to using what was left of his exotic matter. Chaos proceeds to look through his photo album, where he sees some photographs of the New Generation, but he starts to grow blind and weak. Rinko embraces him, at which point he dies. The photo album falls from his hands.[1]
