The 85th chapter of Kinnikuman Nisei: Part Two.

Summary[]

Harabote Muscle declares a lottery to see who will compete in the reserve match.

Story[]

Harabote Muscle announces a new reserve match to take place in the A-Block stadium.[1] Ikemen Muscle criticises his father's scruples, due to it being a money-making scheme, and Mantaro Kinniku praises him for his character development. Harabote reveals that the audience is filled with chojin that did not qualify for the main competition, and that they are paired into tag-teams, with a button that can be pressed. If pressed, it will enter them into a lottery that will allow them to fight for the right to act as a reserve team (in case a main team cannot compete).

The teams have five minutes to submit their bid to compete, but no one is willing to press their buttons. The Fishers consider submitting a bid, but see Team Cosmos rushed by on stretchers and reconsider, and it is then that the Big Bombers also consider entering the competition, only for the Five Disasters to enter the ring. They declare that they shall fight in the reserve match; if they lose, they will forfeit their place in the competition, and - due to nothing in the rules to say that this is not allowed - Harabote allows for this participation.

The Adrenalines seek to compete, but Terry the Kid stops Robin Mask due to the injuries he has sustained in their previous fight against the Wailing Ghost Gang. The fact that they will fight the Five Disasters leads the Big Bombers to hesitate and back out of the fight, but - just as the five-minute countdown to submit bids is about to end - Geronimo and Brocken Jr. appear to take the Big Bombers Button and submit a bit into the reserve-match lottery.[1]
