The 2nd Kinnikuman anime was entitled Kinnikuman: Kinniku-sei Ōi Sōdatsu-hen (キン肉マン・キン肉星王位争奪編, Kinnikuman: Dispute for the Planet Kinniku Throne Arc), though the title is translated as Kinnikuman: Scramble for the Throne on Toei's official site[1].
About[]
It was broadcast on October 6, 1991~September 27, 1992 on Sundays from 10:30~11:00 am on NTV and was produced by Toei Animation. On April 9, 1992 it switched to 11:00~11:30 am. 46 episodes were made.
The series starts after the Dream Choujin Tag Arc from the first series, ignoring the anime only Psycho and Goku'aku Choujin Arcs, and covers only the Survivor Match for the Kinniku Throne Arc. Additionally, the characters Detective Gobugari and Kinkotsu-Obaba do not appear in this series, and only Kinnikuman and Meat have their same voice actors from the first series.
