The God of the Superman Road - also known as The Executioner and God of Evolution - is the chojin god who granted Geronimo his chojin status and fights against Geronimo at the Tower of Babel.

About[]

The God of the Superman Road is chojin god that judges which humans may become a chojin. He once rescued Geronimo as a child, by preventing a boulder from crushing him and his sister, and later again saves his life when he is fifteen, by stopping another boulder. In later years, when Geronimo is seventeen, he allows Geronimo to participate in a series of trials to determine whether he may become a chojin or not. He ultimately judges him worthy to become a chojin, and lets him become a chojin.

History[]

Deep of Muscle 20[]

Geronimo and Amy seek to befriend neighbourhood children, when the children attack them with a boulder. [1] A tall, dark-skinned chojin (the God of the Superhuman Road) comes to stand before them. He headbutts the boulder with his head, which shatters it and saves the two children. [1] He states that it is his duty to protect people, and that Geronimo must stand up for what is right and always have justice in his heart. [2] This event inspires Geronimo to wish to become a chojin, as he seeks the path of justice. [2]

When Geronimo turns fifteen, a gang of white men attack his village. [3] This leads to the village children trying to rid the attackers with a boulder, and Geronimo - wanting to save anyone, no matter who they are - stands before the boulder to protect them. The God of the Superhuman Road comes to stand in front of Geronimo, where he once against headbutts the boulder and shatters it, which saves Geronimo's life and saves the people involved. He makes those involved come to a truce, before he mysteriously disappears once again. [3] It is shown that Chief Cheyenne has a shrine to this god. [3]

Dream Chojin Tag Arc[]

For becoming a chojin, Geronimo must pass the trials of the Superman Road. He travels along the road and encounters three different gateways: he breaks through the first with quick thinking and bravery, as he uses his body to allow two children to cross a ravine, and he passes the second by self-sacrifice to save others from a falling boulder. In the last, he is able to distinguish between good and evil, as he kills the image of Chief Cheyenne that threatens the lives of children. After passing these tests, the God of the Superman Road (スーパーマンロード) transform Geronimo into a true chojin.

Prehistory[]

The God of Evolution awaits the Real Deals in disguise at the Tower of Babel.[4] He reveals that the Tower of Babel reaches heaven, but the only way to reach the top is to fight a match against a choushin, in a ring only accessible by using a Capillaria Piece. The Executioner is on the ground floor, as the Real Deals may only proceed to their matches by first defeating him. The chojin that loses against him will lose their life, as the match is to take place on the palm of a statue, which will close around the losing chojin. Geronimo volunteers to fight him.[4]

Geronimo vs. Executioner[]

Geronimo jumps into the ring, where the God of Evolution reveals his choushin form to be the Executioner.[5] He is giant in stature, far larger than Geronimo.[6] Geronimo begins with a series of chops, but the Executioner counters easily by throwing him to the corner-post, which is followed by a shoulder blow. After Geronimo strikes with a kangaroo kick, he is thrown to the ropes, and the Executioner uses a jumping knee kick. The Executioner proceeds to use his Drill-a-Hole-Scoop.

He knocks Geronimo to the ground and spits on him, leading to Geronimo finding his inner strength and using a back-drop. After a series of Tomahawk Chops, Geronimo uses a Tomahawk Bomber, and attempts a flying body attack. The Executioner uses his Executioner Sword, which Geronimo blocks with an iron guard.[6] Geronimo uses his Apache War-Cry, but struggles when he realises his throat has been cut by the Executioner Sword.[7] The Executioner uses his Drill-a-Hole Scoop, but Geronimo feel the power of the Capillaria piece entrusted to him, and rains down a series of chops.

The Executioner states the Capillaria piece will not affect him, but Geronimo reveals he was simply breaking through the protective veil around the Executioner. He uses a War-Cry to make a hole in the Executioner, before diving through, and uses a Two-Handed Trample Suplex on the Executioner, only for the Executioner to counter with an Executioner Sickle Buster.[7] The Executioner slams Geronimo on the ceiling of the tower, only for the ceiling to partially collapse and cover Geronimo, who lies still on the canvas.[8]

Geronimo finds the strength to stand again, and aims a barrage of blows in Terryman's style. After delivering a Mongolian Chop, but the Executioner counters with a back-breaker, and tosses Geronimo aside. Geronimo holds closed his throat wound, which enables him to try again with his War-Cry.[8] The sound waves from his War-Cry destroy the Executioner's left arm.[9] With the support of his friends, Geronimo gains the upper-hand and fully breaks through the protective veil around the Executioner. After some time, the Executioner blocks Geronimo and grabs him by the arm, before offering him one "final trial".

The Executioner attempts his Executioner Sickle Buster, only for Geronimo to counter and use a New Machineguns Cowbell Stampede.[9] He collapses to the canvas, while the palm of Colossus moves.[10] The statue weeps, before the doors open to the rest of the match locations, and Geronimo is judged worthy, as the match is declared in his favour.[10]

Post-Match[]

The Executioner reveals that he is the God of the Superman Road.[10] He reveals that he is proud of Geronimo, and that the twelve choushin are not unanimous in their beliefs, but the purpose of their arrival is to find a new god to ascend to the heavens (one chosen from the chojin).[10] He explains there are 108 seats for the gods, but there were never 108 gods, and the chojin were thus created to find a successor for the vacant seat.[11] The Executioner names Geronimo as his successor, before taking them both to the top of the tower.[11]
