  • Finally did some work on the voice actor pages, for now just fleshing out the notable credits in their infoboxes. Someone here is a huge Transformers fan, and maybe that same person is a huge Saint Seiya fan. I don't know the Transformer anime stuff well enough to know if any of those are major roles, but I do know Saint Seiya well enough to know which ones weren't. I've noticed there's not a very consistent layout to the pages, so I wonder if you'd mind if I just use the layout I use on the WiKitaro? • Thank you for your hard work, it’s much appreciated! I think Kevin is a little busy at the moment, but the layout you suggested does look really good, so I think it’d be a great idea to do the same here. :D

Thank you so much for all you've done so far, too 👍 It's very much appreciated.

    • I'm so sorry for the late reply; it's been a hectic week.

I agree with you and Soutenkyuu; the example you showed looks great, and seeing what you've done already looks so awesome, too. It's immensely helpful. Thank you again :)

    • Either of you know how to fix the Birth Date and Age template on my Seiyu Wiki? I got it to do it's job, but it leaves spaces between the facts above and below Birth Date in the infobox, and the space gets even bigger if I add birthplaces (like I do). Here's Mayumi Tanaka's page for an example and here's the actual template page. Thanks for any help.

    • I’ll take a look for you! :)

Edit: Oh snap, we replied at the same time. I'll still take a look though. :)

    • Right, I think it's because you're using a different type of Info-Box . . .

I'll pre-empt this with that Soutenkyuu is very much the technical one; does all our templates, sliders, behind-the-scenes stuff, etc. - I'm just replying, as I don't like leaving messages unanswered and in case they're busy, so you're not left hanging ^_^()

If I use our wiki as an example, our new Info-Boxes look like this: https://kinnikuman.fandom.com/wiki/Hidetoshi_Nakamura

And the old ones look like this: https://kinnikuman.fandom.com/wiki/Ichiro_Nagai

I'm slowly swapping the old ones over to the new ones, but when I click "Edit" on your wiki, the symbol and structure seems like our old ones. I think what Soutenkyuu did was to use the new Portable Info-Boxes, whereas you're using the "Non-Portable" Info-Boxes. We still have Evan's old ones for VAs and Games, as you can see, as we haven't converted them all yet (at least I think that's what's going on), but there is a place to convert them under: wiki/Special:Insights/nonportableinfoboxes

I think Soutenkyuu made ours from scratch, as there was some stuff that needed to be added or removed from the old boxes anyway, but I don't want to say that's what it is for definite, as we have very different roles on the wiki and Soutenkyuu is the absolute genius wizz for technology and coding and all things computer related.

Touch wood, they see this and can correct as needed, or talk you through an easy way of fixing the big gaps between the two pieces of information, though ^_^()

    • I checked it out. :) To be honest I initially thought the problem could be the infobox as Kevin suggested, so I made a new infobox just to test it (it did seem to work fine with a portable infobox, but I wanted to see if there was a way to fix it that didn't involve changing all the infoboxes). So I changed the birth date template and it seems to have fixed the problem.
